Sethness Opens Plant in China

LINCOLNWOOD, Ill.Sethness Products Company opened a manufacturing plant in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China. Called Sethness-Roquette Food Ingredients, Co. Ltd. (SRC), this marks the second joint venture between Sethness and Roquette Frères of France. The new plant officially opened in December, 2011.

SRC produces high-quality caramel color in Asia. With food companies focusing their growth efforts globally, Asia features diverse regional and ethnic cuisines. This region, especially China, offers lucrative sales opportunities as it is the worlds fastest growing and most robust economy.
