During our recent virtual summit, "The roadmap for herbal healing and ashwagandha," we were privileged to include as keynote the esteemed Dr.Rajesh Kotecha, The  Government of India, Secretary Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy), during which he spoke about the recent AYUSH announcement in early October 2021 requesting that industry, including ingredient manufacturers, food and dietary supplement brands and other stakeholders specifically refrain from using the ashwagandha leaves in their respective products. This was issued as a guidepost and within this video Dr.Kotecha discussed the role of Ayurveda for world health, and the importance of understanding the plant part in use.
