WAYNE, N.J.--Triarco introduced Metabromine™ and Metabromine-G, both of which are derived from the Theobroma cacao tree. Metabromine is a standardized extract of 6 percent Theobromine and 1.5 percent caffeine. Metabromine-G, which includes pure guarana, is a standardized extract of 5 percent Theobromine and 5 percent caffeine. According to Triarco (www.triarco.com), the two products can be taken as a single-ingredient supplement or incorporated into bars, protein powders, juices and functional foods in numerous blends and dosages.
