WeighPack Systems ~ Star Auger Fillers

LAS VEGASStar Auger fillers, released by WeighPack Systems Inc. and made for powders and granules, feature a tool-less hinged hopper designed to reduce changeover and cleaning time. Supplied with a rubber gasket that eliminates product leakage, the quick-release design allows quick access when changing the screw. Screws are custom designed and tailored to the distinctive characteristics of each product.

A see-through viewing glass aids operators in seeing product in the hopper. Built with food-grade stainless steel, all tooling is easy to remove. Equipped with PLC controls, color touch screen and servo-driven, Star Augers operate at high speed.

Available in two models, the Star Auger 100 includes a 23-quart (28L) hopper with a fill range of 0.5 oz. to 1 lb. running at speeds up to 90 cpm. Star Auger 200, with a 45-quart (50L) hopper and fill range of 1 oz. to 5 lbs., operates at speeds up to 70 cpm. Options available include an automatic feedback scale that automatically recalibrates the auger to compensate for changes in product density. For products that flow easily, a double-catch door is available that stops product flow between cycles.
