Braes Group, McCormick & Co. Sign Distribution Agreement

LONDON--The Braes Group signed a North Americandistribution agreement with Hunt Valley, Md.-based McCormick & Co. underwhich McCormick will sell a line of fruit and vegetable powders manufactured byBraes' Obepektin AG division in Switzerland. Obepektin produces more than 5,000tons of granules, powders and flakes from fruits, vegetables, juices and pulpsin 300 varieties, according to Braes. These granules are used in applicationssuch as beverages, supplements, and nutritional sports and cereal bars.
