Citroil Goes Green, Installs Solar Panels

CARLSTADT, N.J.Citroil Enterprises, Inc., outfitted its 50,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters with 1,200 solar panels on the main building and parking canopies. The company anticipates cutting its electrical consumption in half and having its investment returned in about 8 years.

 According to Vivian Glueck, Citroil President, We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint in all of our properties worldwide and looked into many ways to accomplish that."

Max Vanderlinden, Director of Operations, who supervised the project, added: The installation took 5 months and we are very happy with the results. The solar panel project is a testament to the principals commitment to form a green prospective within the company. It benefits everyone."
