Curtis Packaging Wins Healthy Air Award

SANDY HOOK, CTThe American Lung Association (ALA) rewarded Curtis Packaging with the Healthy Air Ambassador-Corporate Award at its Breath of Spring Gala on April 8. The ALA recognized Curtis for a demonstrated commitment to clean air through environmentally sound practices and a dedication to healthy lungs for all.

Curtis Packaging designs and manufactures custom folding cartons and was founded in Sandy Hook, CT, in 1845. The organization is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) certified. It uses 100-percent renewable energy, and is 100-percent Carbon Neutral. The company offers a range of proprietary materials used to create packages that are completely recyclable.
