NutraChoice.com Merges with NPIcenter.com, Alligns with ShipChem.com

TORONTO--NutraChoice.com, a division of SciChoice Solutions Corp. here, announced two developments designed to better position the company in the B2B marketplace. First, NutraChoice.com announced a strategic alliance with ShipChem.com, a global electronics solutions provider for the management of shipping/logistics services. The alliance combines the logistics management solutions of ShipChem.com with NutraChoice.com's service package for the worldwide natural products marketplace.

Second, in late September, NutraChoice.com announced an intent to merge with NPIcenter.com, an information-based Web site for the nutraceuticals industry. According to NutraChoice.com, the merger is a strong step to further develop a fully networked information and supply chain online. "This merger is a key step to accomplishing our goal of providing the community the complete package of information and tools to make better and more efficient buying and selling decisions," said Len Monheit, president of NutraChoice.com. Nichole Hastings, vice president of industry relations and content development for NPIcenter.com, added that there will be many benefits to users. "We can offer the industry an extensive portfolio of systems, products and services," she said. The merger is expected to be complete by November 2000.
