LONG BEACH, Calif.BI Nutraceuticals announced the hiring of Theresa Reid Aranda as Director of Procurement, and Lindsay Monsivaiz as Buyer.

As Procurement Director, Aranda will be the main point of contact with suppliers and conduct price negotiations with vendors, and will develop strategies and objectives to drive improvements in the supply chain and sourcing processes.

In her position of Buyer, Monsivaiz is primarily responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, services, supplies and equipment. She will also ensure that all raw materials meet company quality and regulatory requirements. 

Aranda previously spent 13 years at BI Nutraceuticals in customer service, sales and operations capacities, including Vice President of Operations. Prior to her years at BI, Aranda fulfilled management functions for Natures Sunshine Products. Most recently she was part of the sales team at Martin Bauer North America, Inc. Theresa is a Certified Production Inventory Manager through the American Production and Inventory Control Society. She holds a bachelors degree in management from Pepperdine University and a masters degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica.  

Monsivaiz was most recently Regional Sales Manager for High Quality Organics, where she worked to advance sales with new and existing customers.  She has also served as Customer Service Manager for Martin Bauer North America, Inc. where she developed and maintained client relationships and managed customer accounts. Prior to that, she spent nearly 10 years with Amzac Enterprises, a Southern California transportation, warehousing and distribution company.
