Brand-Nu Labs ~ Vitamin D

MERIDEN, Ct. Brand-Nu Laboratories added two forms of vitamin D to its portfolio of nutritional ingredients. The vitamins and minerals supplier will offer both vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). 

Vitamin D is a crucial nutrient for both immune and bone health. And in October, researchers began the landmark Vitamin D and Type 2 Diabetes (D2d) study to investigate if vitamin D supplementation helps prevent or delay type 2 diabetes in prediabetic adults.

With the rising interest by consumers in vitamin D, we wanted to offer dietary supplement and nutrient premix manufacturers a high purity, cost effective option for the supply of vitamin D­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­2 and vitamin D3," said Toni Patterson, business development manager at Brand-Nu Laboratories.

The Connecticut-based supplier will feature the new products at SupplySide West on November 14 and 15 in Las Vegas.
