DSM Receives Dean's Medal For Leadership in Nutrition

HEERLEN, NetherlandsRoyal DSM N.V. was awarded Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Healths Dean Medal for its global corporate leadership to mitigate food insecurity, prevent hidden hunger and promote development in low-income countries.

Dean, Michael J. Klag, M.D., MPH, presented the schools highest honor to DSM Managing Board Member Stephan Tanda on Dec. 3 in Baltimore during a celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the discovery of vitamins.

As one of the world's leading micronutrients firm, DSM Nutritional Products supports Sight and Life, a humanitarian organization that provides advocacy, technical assistance and education to prevent hidden hunger. The company also partnered with the United Nations' World Food Programme to tackle food insecurity across the world.
