Fortitech Gets Nod from Pakistani Government

KUALALUMPUR , MalaysiaThe Pakistan Ministry of Health awarded Fortitech Asia Pacific, based here, the contract to manufacture and supply the vitamin and mineral premix containing FeNaEDTA iron supplement for its National Wheat Flour Fortification Program. By awarding the contract to Fortitech Asia Pacific, Pakistans government shows its commitment to deliver quality products that benefit a large portion of the population, said Ram Chaudhari, co-founder and chief scientific officer (CSO), Fortitech (www.fortitech.com). The company will partner with Akzo Nobel to source this bioavailable iron under the brand name Ferrazone® XF. The product leaves no taste when added to food and remains stable under storage and cooking conditions.
