Roche Vitamins Launches Online Purchasing System

LAS VEGAS--During the recent SupplySide West tradeshow here, Roche Vitamins Inc. officially launched NutraAccess, its onlinepurchasing system serving the dietary supplement, food, cosmetics and feedindustries. The e-commerce site (www.nutraaccess.com)allows registered Roche customers to review product offerings, place and trackorders, see shipping options and detail their order history. The site alsooffers product data sheets, industry overviews, market research and scientificreports.

Roche Vitamins, which is based in Parisippany, N.J., is usingtechnologies such as EDI and XML to allow customers to automate the orderingprocess. In addition, NutraAccess serves the needs of small and mid-sizemanufacturers by effectively eliminating the minimum order requirement, ascustomers can place orders down to the smallest commercial pack size.
