OJAI, Calif.—Vitamin Relief USA (VRUSA) lauded Tishcon Corp. for its ongoing donations to support programs providing multivitamin/mineral chewables to undernourished children in the United States; last year alone, Tishcon’s donation exceeded 14 million children’s chewables.

VRUSA noted one school that has benefited from the donations is Ruleville Elementary, Ruleville, Miss. The school has been part of the Vitamin Relief program for three years, and its principal originally applied for VRUSA support after observing the disadvantages facing undernourished children. According to VRUSA, the nutritional support has helped turn around test scores, behavioral situations and parent involvement in both the school and their children’s lives.

“No words can express the gratitude and deep respect that we hold for Raj Chopra, Vipin Patel and Arun Chopra of Tishcon Corp.,” said Michael Morton, executive director at VRUSA (www.vitaminrelief.org). “Their extraordinary generosity improves the everyday moments of thousands of children whose lives are difficult, painful. What can be more noble?”
