OGDEN, Utah—Trace Minerals Research (TMR) will introduce its line of animal nutrition ingredients and pet supplement formulas for private label at the Petfood 2.0 trade show and conference, which is being held Sept. 23 to 24 at the Hilton Chicago Downtown in Chicago.

“The pet food and supplement market is a growing market that we feel fits perfectly with our ingredient and private label product line," said James Crawford, bulk sales manager for TMR. “Pet owners are realizing more that their pets need supplements just as much as they do. We have some very unique products in the natural products industry that are essential for optimum health for humans that are just as essential for animal health."

One of the products Crawford is referring to is ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Drops. ConcenTrace® is a unique complex of over 72 naturally occurring ionic trace minerals that has been harvested from the Great Salt Lake in Utah. The minerals are then concentrated naturally by ConceFlo®, a proprietary solar evaporation technology developed by TMR. The mineral complex is approximately 70 times more concentrated than seawater with 99 percent of the sodium removed. ConcenTrace® can be private labeled as a stand-alone mineral supplement for animals or it can be used as an ingredient to add to pet food to fortify its mineral profile. In addition, ConcenTrace® is Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) certified for organic use, GRAS (generally recognized as safe)-affirmed, certified vegan, allergen free, Non-GMO Project verified, Kosher and Halal.

Sabinsa will also be introducing a new line of animal ingredients at Petfood 2.0.
