Vitamin Angel Donations Top 80 Million in 2005

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. VitaminAngel Alliance announced it received a record level of contributions in 2005,allowing the group to deliver more than 80 million doses of nutritionalsupplements worldwide. The wholesale value of the vitamin donations was over$6.2 million, with donations reaching 40 countries. Among the groupsachievements were 18 million supplements delivered to families impacted byHurricanes Katrina and Rita; 10 million supplements distributed for tsunamirelief; 12 million supplements distributed to Tibetan children; and 30million supplements distributed for the Pakistan earthquake relief effort.
