OJAI, Calif.Vitamin Relief USA announced the launch of Nourish America, a new umbrella organization to expand the groups humanitarian services. The goal of the name change is to broaden the existing supplement programs of Vitamin Relief USA to include natural, functional and organic foods, beverage products and health education services. These educational programs will engage expert nutritionists and leaders in the health and wellness sectors to work directly with communities.

Nourish America extends our reach and increases our ability to ensure that Americas children, families, seniors and those at risk for malnutrition receive the daily essential nutrition they need, along with the education that helps empower them to care for themselves, said Michael Morton, Ph.D., executive director. This is an exciting time in our history, and we are thrilled by the expanding support we are receiving from new and old partners and suppliers.

The organization (www.VitaminRelief.org) was also ranked by Charity Navigator as one of the top non-profits in America, earning the four-star evaluation for the second consecutive year. Trent Stamp, president of Charity Navigator, noted: Only 14 percent of the charities weve rated have received at least two consecutive four-star evaluations, indicating that Vitamin Relief USA outperforms most charities in America in its efforts to operate in the most fiscally responsible way possible. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Vitamin Relief USA from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worth of their trust.
