IRVINE, Calif.Beijing Gingko Group (BGG), a world-leading manufacturer of all-natural botanical extracts and derivatives, completed the newest round of research on its natural nutritive supplement ThinOgen Plus.
According to company president Jay Lee, M.D., PhD, The new research supports our quality commitment in this exciting product category. It clearly confirms ThinOgen Plus is incomparably effective in controlling body weight and fat control. Complete findings of the study are available in a recently published White Paper, available on the BGG Web site.
A proprietary blend of fucoxanthin and other ingredients, ThinOgen Plus was administered in a randomized clinical trial to 19 subjects for three months to measure and assess its weight and fat loss effects. Comprised of males and seven females, ranging from 25 to 50 years old, the subjects were in the body mass index (BMI) range of 23.0 to 40.0 kg/m2 and free of severe metabolic disease demanding medical control, cancer, malnutrition, pregnancy or lactation and other anti-obesity products used within the prior three months. Control group subjects received a placebo, with the balance receiving various dosages of ThinOgen Plus.
After the first month, 92.7 percent of the 2 mg/d group and 95 percent of the 4 mg/d group reported weight and fat loss. After the second month, 93 percent of the 2 mg/d group and 95 percent of the 4 mg/d group reported loss. After the third month, 94.5 percent of the 2 mg/d group and 99 percent of the 4 mg/d group reported loss compared to the placebo group, with the highest reported weight loss rate at 9.21 percent. During the fourth month, supplementation was halted, but weight and fat loss continued for the 2 mg/d and 4mg/d groups. Further, CT scans measured the subjects' abdominal fat areas and determined a strong likelihood for continued fat loss.
ThinOgen Plus increases the production of UCP-1 proteins, allowing for more protons to pass through the UCP channels. This process diverts energy from ATP synthesis, which transforms substances such as sugar and fat to energy, to thermogenesis. Unlike traditional anti-obesity products that block fat absorption and generally leading to rapid weight regain following use, thermogenesis generated by fucoxanthin supplementation significantly delays weight regain.
Also unlike traditional products, ThinOgen Plus generated no side effects. Specifically, no test group participants reported digestive issues such as decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting or gastrointestinal discomfort. On the contrary, several subjects noted a decrease in constipation. There were no reports of increased thirst or urination, confirming the supplements non-diuretic characteristics. Dysphoria, agrypnia, restlessness, sweating and other issues often associated with amphetamines and fenfluramine were not present. Additionally, no subjects reported an increase in blood pressure or heart rate, palpitations, dizziness or other cardiovascular issues.
ThinOgen Plus enabled slow and stable weight and fat loss for subjects with a BMI greater than 23.4, explained Dr. Lee. This is the safest way to lose weight and fat but also the key to keeping it off. While BGG encourages healthy diet and regular exercise, the research proves ThinOgen Plus contributed to significant weight and fat loss without a regulated diet and exercise program.
