BGGs ThinOgen Plus Supports Weight Loss

IRVINE, Calif.—In an in-house, unpublished study, researchers found Beijing Gingko Group’s ThinOgen™ Plus, a propriety blend of fucoxanthin and other ingredients, produced a weight and fat loss effects on subjects with a BMI greater than 23.4. The highest reported weight loss rate was at 9.21 percent.

The randomized clinical trial included 19 subjects where five ingested a placebo pill, six ingested 2 mg/d of fucoxanthin and the remaining eight ingested 4 mg/d of fucoxanthin.

After three months, those who ingested 2 mg/d had P-values recorded at 0.073, 0.070 and 0.055 respectively, confirming effectiveness rates of 92.7 percent, 93 percent and 94.5 percent. Similarly, those who ingested 4 mg/d showed a significant difference in months one and two, with P-values recorded at 0.05, and an effectiveness rate of 95 percent. Additionally, month three reported P-values of 0.01 with an effectiveness rate at 99 percent, in comparison to the placebo group. After oral consumption came to an end in month three, weight and fat loss remained consistent throughout month four and abdominal fat areas measured by a CT scan showed encouraging results for continual fat loss. No abnormal symptoms were recorded during the routine urine testing, blood, physical checkups or the post-trial interview.
