Dr Pepper Snapple Set to Roll Out 5 New 10-Calorie Sodas

PLANO, TexasBeginning next month, Dr Pepper Snapple Group will introduce 10-calorie versions of five of its most popular soda brands. The low-cal move follows up on the successful launch last year of Dr Pepper TEN®, which is enjoying strong trial and repeat purchase rates.

The five new TEN products7UP TEN®, A&W TEN® Root Beer, Sunkist® TEN Orange Soda, Canada Dry TEN®Ginger Ale and RC TEN® Colawill be available in January at select retailers across the country. Dr Pepper Snapple expects to have broad national distribution ahead of an advertising campaign breaking in March.

The sodas use a unique blend of caloric and non-caloric sweeteners to deliver a full flavor with only 10 calories per 12-ounce serving. The company is targeting consumers 25 to 39 years who have cut back on soda consumption to cut calories.
