IFP and InterHealth Collaborate on Meratrim Powder

BENICIA, Calif.Innovative Food Processors (IFP) and InterHealth Nutraceuticals Inc. introduced a new weight loss powder concept based on InterHealth's latest weight loss ingredient, Meratrim®.

Developed by IFP, the powder mixes with milk or water and acts as a starting base for customers to freely customize on how they wish to make their weight management product. Customers have the opportunity to add in other nutrients, extracts, flavors and more.

Meratrim® is a proprietary blend made of two plant extracts, Sphaeranthus indicus flower heads and Garcinia mangostana fruit rind. According to IFP and InterHealth, Meratrim® is clinically proven to help reduce body weight overall.

IFP is a Minnesota-based company specializing in functional beverages, sports and nutrition supplements, and medical foods with various ingredients such as fibers, prebiotics, protein, probiotics and amino acids. Located in California, InterHealth Nutraceuticals is dedicated to researching, developing, marketing and distributing specialty nutritional ingredients worldwide.

In February, InterHealth Nutraceuticals signed a sales representation agreement with Connecticut-based Milbar Laboratories for Numelle.
