IxoReal Enters Australia with Lipa Partnership

MINTO, AustraliaIxoreal Biomed, which manufactures the advanced ashwagandha extract KSM-66®, has signed an exclusive agreement with Lipa Pharmaceuticals, Australias largest contract manufacturer, to bring the ingredient to Australia & New Zealand. Lipa operates a 15,000-square-foot, world class facility that is licensed by Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and is known for bringing novel ingredients to the Trans-Tasman market utilizing close relationships with leading marketers across the region.

KSM-66® Advanced Ashwagandha KSM-66®, which was launched  in January 2012, was designed as an adaptogen for healthy stress management and recommended for use in many applications including nutraceuticals, functional foods and beverages. It is produced using Green Chemistry principles, which specify no use of alcohol or synthetic solvents. The ingredient was subjected to several randomized, double blinded, placebo controlled studies conducted in humans. the results showed KSM-66® is a safe and potent adaptogen conveying a significant normalizing effect on common physical, chemical and biological stressors. This manifested in reduced stress and improvements in energy, cognitive function, physical performance, immunity and fertility. The ingredient recently won "Innovative Ingredient of the Year" at Panacea in South Asia and was a finalist for the "Best Botanical" award by Engredea at Expo West in Anaheim.
