Kemin Introduces Satise for Weight Management

DES MOINES, IowaKemin Consumer Care LC announced the introductionof a clinically tested, natural weight-management product called SatiseSatiety Aid. The finished product is being test marketed exclusively in Phoenixarea Hi-Health stores and, depending on results of the test market and Keminsexpanding production capabilities, may be available as an ingredient at somepoint in the future.

The active ingredient in Satise is a proteinase inhibitor 2 (PI2) proteinextract derived from potatoes. Clinical studies have shown PI2 is effective inproducing natural feelings of fullness and satiety, allowing people to managehunger naturally with no known side effects, according to Kemin.
